Abstract

The agricultural industrial parks in China encounter the problems of small size, difficult business operation, uneasy capital formation, low net value, and excessive centralization in specific areas. In face of the approach of new financial era, agricultural industrial parks have to re-plan the business strategies and actively reinforce or improve the defects and weaknesses in order to cope with future competition trend. Data Envelopment Analysis is applied to evaluate efficiency in this study. National agricultural industrial parks in Anxi, Fujian, are selected as the research samples. The used variable data are acquired from public statistics of national agricultural industrial parks in Anxi, Fujian. The analysis results show that 1.one DMU presents strong efficiency, 3 DMUs reveal marginal inefficiency, and 6 DMUs appear obvious inefficiency and 2.inputs and outputs are removed one by one for sensitivity analysis with DEA to understand the sensitivity to efficiency. Finally, suggestions are proposed according to the conclusion, expecting to assist agricultural industrial parks in reinforcing the competitiveness and promoting the business performance through knowledge management.
