Abstract

This study aims to develop the concept of Engagement Religious Compliance (ERC), which has been written by Ratnawati, Kholis, et al. (2023) and Ratnawati, Widodo, et al. (2023). ERC, as a concept in conducting partnerships, is interpreted as a form of involvement of an organization when conducting alliances with other organizations, where the partnership carried out is based on compliance and religious norms (Islam) that are believed. In this study, the concept of ERC, with the dimensions of involvement and engagement from a spiritual perspective, is tested for its influence on marketing performance. It also tested whether engagement can act as a moderating variable in the relationship between involvement and partnership performance. In this study, data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to selected respondents, namely the heads of Islamic Hospitals in Central Java who are partners with BPJS Kesehatan. The questionnaires collected and could be analyzed were 87. The data obtained were then analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of Smart PLS 4 software. The study's results showed that engagement affected increasing partnership performance. Involvement cannot directly affect partnership performance, but the existence of engagement can moderate the effect of participation on increasing partnership performance.
