Analisis Pengaruh Sistem Pelaporan Elektronik dan Budaya Keselamatan Pasien terhadap Penurunan Stigma Pelaporan Insiden Keselamatan Pasien

Abstract

Patient safety is a key dimension of healthcare quality; however, the reporting of patient safety incidents is often hindered by reporting stigma stemming from the fear of blame or punishment. This study aimed to analyze the influence of electronic reporting systems and patient safety culture on reducing patient safety incident reporting stigma. A quantitative approach using a survey method was employed, involving healthcare workers from hospitals selected via proportional stratified random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire—validated for reliability and validity—and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that both electronic reporting systems and patient safety culture have a positive and significant partial effect on reducing reporting stigma. Simultaneously, these two variables also significantly influence the reduction of reporting stigma, although a substantial portion of the variance is still explained by factors other than these two variables. These findings underscore that the provision of effective reporting systems and the strengthening of a non-punitive organizational culture must work in synergy to mitigate patient safety incident reporting stigma.
